Its text rendering in images is genuinely best-in-class, and overall image quality competes with Midjourney while being open-weight. The tradeoff is no official app — you'll use it through ComfyUI locally or through hosted APIs like Replicate and fal.ai. If you want near-Midjourney quality with the freedom of open source, Flux is the model to run.
